Red Cross Mailer

This was a project in my Graphic Design Productions a.k.a Pre-press class. We had to choose a company and create a mailer promoting a civil-minded service. I chose to use the Red Cross, because this project was handed to us around the time of that tragic Haitian earthquake...

In the far right corner you see a red square, that is the mailer when it is completely folded. When you open it (far left) the red makes up the logo of the Red Cross organization. When you flip it over, you see messages and the center looks like an open white box. You pull that tab... and the "call to action" is revealed, basically saying to please donate to the Red Cross and help out our neighbor Haiti.

I am really pleased with the final result of my design. My teacher was too. What do you guys think about it?

Again, this was just a project for class; but maybe someday I will be designing more civil-minded things like this...or at least illustrate them..
